The Knolls Neighborhood & School Information
The Knolls is a beautiful neighborhood built around the Knolls Golf Course between 108th & 120th just north of Maple. Originally developed in the mid-to-late 70’s, you’ll see a variety of sizes and layouts, from split entry and raised ranch to multi-level and two-story.
The Knolls is part of the Omaha Public School District, with Sunny Slope Elementary on the south end of the neighborhood, and nearby options like Morton Magnet Middle School, Burke and Northwest High Schools all within a few minutes drive.

The Knolls Shopping & Lifestyle
For your daily shopping, Bag ‘N Save and Fairway grocery stores are just off Maple, and Walmart and Target are a few minutes down Maple around 132nd along with restaurants like Salt and Hiro 88. Other popular spots like La Mesa Mexican Restaurant and The Icehouse are just south on 108th & Maple, and you can stay fit at Blue Moon Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness, both a few minutes away off Maple.
In addition to The Knolls course, you’re also a short drive away from popular golf courses like Champions Run and Eagle Run, both off 132nd and Maple. If you like spending time outside or getting involved in local sports leagues, Tranquility Park and the Tennis Club & Soccer Center are both off 120th & Fort. For commuting downtown, just head a few blocks east on Maple to hop on I680 and link up with I-80, so you’re less than 20 minutes to downtown in good traffic.
