Center Park Neighborhood & School Information
Center Park is an established and affordable neighborhood located just west of 156th & Center. The subdivision lies just north of Lake Zorinsky and east of the Shoppes at Legacy and Lakeside Hills Plaza, so you’re close to everything West Omaha has to offer.
Typical of homes built in the 70’s and 80’s you’ll notice a lot of split-entry, multi-level as well as raised ranch layouts here. You’ll also notice the mature trees and nearby parks, including Zorinsky Lake Park on the south edge of the neighborhood.
As part of the Millard School District, younger kids will get a great education at schools like Harvey Oaks Elementary and Millard North Middle Scool, both 5 minutes east off Center, and Millard North High is a just a few minutes up the street on 144th & Pacific.

For your daily shopping, Bakers, Walmart, Lowes, Target and much more are located along West Center from 170th and 192nd. You also have the Shoppes at Legacy right across 168th St, Oak View Mall east on 144th & Center and Village Pointe a few minutes up 168th, so you’re close to some of Omaha’s most popular restaurants like Upstream, Roja, Pitch and the Blatt.
If you’re in the mood to grab dinner or drinks, you have fun options like Two Fine Irishmen, Parliament or Blue Sushi. If you want to stay fit, check out the huge, family-friendly LifeTime Fitness on 170th & Center, or take a run around Lake Zorinsky. For commute time, your best bet is taking Industrial Rd straight east to I-80, that way you’re less than 25 minutes from downtown Omaha in good traffic.
