Selling a house involves managing a lot of moving parts, but there are two areas especially that are easy to bungle if you’re a home seller.

The first area is price. Every house will sell for the right price, so it’s very important that you are strategic in how you price your property the first time and you don’t act unreasonable. It’s also important that you consider making price reductions in the event that your house doesn’t sell in the first 15 or 30 days. We’d recommend to any seller in this situation to consider a price reduction every five showings if they still aren’t receiving any offers on their home.

The next area is the condition of the property. We recommend that all sellers work with a professional staging company to put the property in its best light. When buyers walk through your home for the first time, you need to make sure it’s showing like a model home.
