Dozens of team members on Dec. 20th descended upon the kwELITE Headquarters in Omaha to celebrate the holiday season and the successes of 2022 while also preparing for a prosperous 2023.
Jeff Cohn, kwELITE founder and operating principal, welcomed those from the company’s numerous indy locations across Nebraska and ancillary businesses (Aksarben Mortgage, Aksarben Insurance, Aksarben Property Management, Platinum Title & Escrow, SRE Home Inspections and America’s Preferred Warranty, among others) to the December 2022 Stakeholders’ Meeting.
The holidays were on everyone’s minds, as attendees were treated to a hot chocolate bar loaded with marshmallows, whipped cream and more. There also were special appearances by Santa Claus, one of his elves and even “The Grinch” so that team members could show off their ugly holiday sweaters in a photo with Kris Kringle and his favorite elf.
SRE Home Inspections Owner John Sutko rocked the famous red suit, hat, boots and a long white beard, while Aksarben Mortgage partner John Major served as Santa’s little helper decked out in his green garb.
“Over the years being in the home inspection business, SRE Home Inspections has been a big supporter of the kwELITE teams …” Sutko said.
“It was truly a pleasure to dress the part and interact with all the fantastic agents who support our business … At the end of the day it was great to be a part of a fun event with a team of highly successful agents who enjoy having a fun time.”
The merriment was not out of the ordinary, as the monthly stakeholders’ meeting usually brings together the hardworking group of individuals seeking to bring their A-game to the real estate industry.
“I’ve always believed that we should work hard and play hard. And that each person, no matter their role, should strive every day to become a better version of themselves,” Cohn said.

Since the headquarters opened in January 2020, the company has realized massive growth by going from 30 to approximately 120 agents in about three years. It has also expanded by opening eight satellite offices in West Omaha, Elkhorn, Gretna, Midtown, Papillion, Lincoln, Columbus and Kearney, providing entrepreneurial team leaders the opportunity to run their own offices and operate independently while still getting access to ELITE core services like transaction coordination, marketing, training, systems and more.
