2020 has been an unexpected year in so many ways. This November, we reflect on the simpler things to be grateful for. We asked our Platinum Title & Escrow team members to share a few things they’re especially thankful for this year.
Here’s ten things we’re thankful for this year.
1. Health
As the novel coronavirus continues to spread across the country and worldwide, it’s allowed people to be grateful for their own health. Even if their health isn’t perfect, it’s shown everyone that it could be much worse. Being grateful for our health and caring for our bodies has been a theme of this year.
2. Family
Many people have spent more time with their immediate family this year due to lockdowns and other restrictions. While it can be overwhelming, many of the Platinum team saw time spent with family as a blessing. Being together has made people grateful for their family, especially time spent with their children and grandchildren, and watching them grow.
3. Friends
Nothing can replace close friends, especially those that have been lifelong relationships. Our team members have been grateful for those special friends who have made this year brighter.
4. Co-workers
The work environment has also looked different this year. With more people working from home and multiple offices, teams have had to get creative to stay connected to their co-workers. As a close-knit group, we’re so thankful for our wonderful co-workers and to be a part of such a warm, cohesive work environment.
5. Weekends
We always look forward to relaxing weekends, but this year our team is especially grateful for them. It’s time to take a break and unwind from the week, or spend time with family and friends. While we love what we do at Platinum Title & Escrow, everyone needs some downtime.
6. Laughter
It’s been a heavy year. The world seems to be on edge. Laughter helps immensely in difficult times and spreads a little light. Our team member, Heather Pura, says it best: “Without laughter the world would be a sad place.”
7. Challenges
This year has been a difficult one for so many. While it can be hard to see positivity in hardship, we can be grateful for challenges, as they lead us to growth.
8. Mother Nature
Our Earth is often overlooked in the daily bustle of life, but this year has forced us to slow down and find joy in simpler things. Our Platinum team is grateful for mother nature and all she has to offer us.
9. Faith
In times of difficulty, religion and faith can bring even more comfort to us. Members of our Platinum team are grateful for their faith and having a strong connection to their religious beliefs.
10. Pets
Finally, our extra time at home has meant extra snuggles with our fur-babies. Pets love us unconditionally and they bring such joy to our lives. Our Platinum team is especially grateful for their pets this year.
From our team to you, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving this year, and encourage you to share your gratitude and find joy and kindness.
