Hook 'em! That's my motto and favorite college battle cry. Not only does it pertain to college football, but it is also the perfect slogan for a customer service career. It's the single most important thing you can do, get your clients "hooked" on you by making their experience a truly special one. It's a win-win because my clients have a deep level of satisfaction, and in return I feel a great sense of accomplishment. I genuinely pride myself in being the person everyone calls when they have a need.
After moving to Dallas, eleven years ago from Amarillo, I immediately immersed myself in hard work and school, working full time to pay for college. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. A few years later, I went back to Texas Woman's University to get my MBA. What I learned from the process is truly priceless. It's not what you know, it's who you know.
I have been in a sales for over 10 years and chose sales as a career path due to its rewarding nature. I started my own referral based business a couple of years ago doing sales and recruiting. I founded my business on what I know best, anticipating the needs of my clients proactively, strong negotiating skills, and providing the ultimate customer service experience. What I didn't quite realize at the time is that it's best to sell something you really have a passion for, hence my move to real estate. It has all the qualities I looked for in a dream job, heavy customer service interaction, sense of accomplishment and entrepreneurial autonomy. I honestly enjoyed my house hunting experiences so much that I decided to take the plunge and do something I'm enthusiastic about.
